RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL

As a customer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Act on Distance Contracts and Contracts Away from Business Premises (SFS 2005:59).


The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you receive your product. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly via email before the withdrawal period has expired. Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 14 days, including the original shipping cost (if applicable). Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed. Products must be returned in unused condition and in their original packaging when possible.


If you have any questions or wish to initiate a return, feel free to contact us at info@scandinaviansettler.com, and we’ll be happy to assist you. Customers who are companies or other types of legal entities are not offered a right of withdrawal.


If the Customer withdraws from the Agreement, Scandinavian Settler will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including what the Customer paid for delivery (but not including additional delivery costs due to the fact that the Customer has chosen a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered by Scandinavian Settler).


The Customer is liable for the reduced value of the goods as a result of handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the goods.


The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which Scandinavian Settler was notified of the Customer's decision to withdraw from the Agreement. Scandinavian Settler may, however, wait for the refund until it has received the goods back from the Customer or until the Customer has sent in proof that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first. The refund to the Customer will be made via the payment method chosen by the Customer in his/her order, unless otherwise agreed or unless it is not possible for Scandinavian Settler to make a refund via that payment method.


If the Customer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, the Customer should, before the expiry of the withdrawal period, send a message by e-mail (info@scandinaviansettler.com) to Scandinavian Settler and you will receive a return note as well as a return label.

The Customer shall return the goods to Scandinavian Settler without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days after the date on which the Customer has notified Scandinavian Settler of his/her decision to withdraw from the Agreement. The period of withdrawal shall be deemed to have been observed if the Customer returns the goods before this 14-day period has expired.


COMPLAINT

Customers always have a three-year warranty period for any original defects on the products from the date of receipt of the product. Customers who wish to claim defects in the product should contact Scandinavian Settler as soon as possible after the defect is discovered, but no later than 30 days. The Customer must inspect the products when they are received and any damage to the packaging must be reported directly to the driver.

If delivered products are defective, Scandinavian Settler applies the applicable consumer legislation. A Customer who is not satisfied with his/her goods due to obvious material or manufacturing defects, including damages incurred during transport, must inform Scandinavian Settler as soon as possible by email (info@scandinaviansettler.com).

Scandinavian Settler offers the possibility of a price reduction in the event of a complaint, in the first instance if redelivery is considered too costly in view of the nature of the defect. In the event that the Customer needs to return a defective product to Scandinavian Settler, Scandinavian Settler will communicate instructions for this to the Customer and provide a return slip. If Scandinavian Settler has to refund all or part of the purchase amount, this will be done without undue delay after the complaint has been accepted, but at the latest within 14 days.

GUARANTEE

Our products are made of high-quality materials. However, it is possible that products may have a material or manufacturing defect. It is of utmost importance for us to receive feedback on defective products as soon as possible so that we can take further action. For warranty cases, please contact the point of purchase, within 30 days of discovery. And show your receipt for the warranty to be valid.
